I graduated from Northern State University in May of 1998. I moved to Harrold, SD and taught kindergarten for 3 years. I loved teaching 5 & 6 year olds! In 1999, I met the local Schwan's man who later became my husband! I moved to Faulkton and Cory and I were married in August of 2001. Over the next 4 years, I taught library, music and computers. I enjoyed teaching all the 'fun' classes. It was also nice because I got to know all of the students in the elementary. This will be my fifth year of teaching 1st grade. One of the best things about teaching is the Promethean Board that I have in the classroom. It makes teaching so much easier and learning so much fun for my students!
My son, Hayden, is now 7 years old and is a 2nd grader this year. He loves to play with his trucks, trains, legos and cars. He also likes to go fishing, ride his bike and help his dad in the shop.
Savanna turned 5 in August and goes to Preschool 3 days a week. She loves playing with her dolls, riding her bike and playing toys with Hayden.
We are expecting our 3rd child in December. We are very excited and we are looking forward to having a new baby boy in our family.
We also have a dog, Molly, and a cat named Punky. They get along most of the time, but occasionally can be found chasing each other around the living room. As a family, we love to go camping, boating and fishing in the summer.
